CheckUps is staffed principally by our certified nurse practioners, who typically have a four-year degree and two-year masters degree in nursing. Each nurse practioner will be able to prescribe appropriate medication.

The nurse practioner is supervised by local physicians who have been identified as "key" providers by the retail pharmacy in the geographic area of the retail establishment. To the extent that the patient's medical condition requires diagnosis and treatment by a physician, referrals are made to the supervising local physician.
